    Scholarship Program

Effective in July of 2025, The Bridge of Round Lake is now offering scholarships to provide financial assistance for young adults, regarding various needs and opportunities in your life. Priority will be given to high school graduates from the Round Lake community who have actively participated with The Bridge. These scholarships are made available in part by the generous donations of individuals, Walmart in Round Lake Beach, and Lake Region Bible Church (our sponsoring church).

Along with financial assistance, this scholarship program is also designed to provide you, as a young adult, with an opportunity to enhance your educational and vocational development and other life-enriching skills. By taking the time to fill out this online application, and then meeting with our Bridge leadership to discuss your application, you are gaining additional experience in the personal and professional skills needed to succeed in life as an adult.

After you have submitted the application below, you should be redirected to a webpage that says "Thank you. Your information has been submitted." Also, once you are finished, please send an email ([email protected]) or a text message (847-886-9155) to our Executive Director, Pastor Marcus Johnson, and let him know you completed an application. Thank you.

Additional Information - Here are some examples of what this scholarship could be used for: Books, tuition, educational fees; Commuting, travel or vehicle expenses for school, work, a missions trip, conference, retreat, etc.; Material needs such as new clothing, shoes, boots, laptop, cell phone, or other personal items which will benefit you in your educational, vocational or everyday life.

In light of the economic challenges many young adults are facing for everyday needs & expenses, scholarship funds may be applied for in order to purchase personal items (like the ones listed above) which you do not already have, or which you would like to upgrade or replace. You should indicate in the description of your application what you will use the funds for and why they are needed or would be beneficial to you. Thank you.
