Our Philosophy of Mission
(see also our Mission & Vision webpage above)
● We believe in the importance of reaching out to youth & young adults with the love of Christ; the priority of relationship-based mission; the effectiveness of working together with families, leaders, schools, organizations, churches, & businesses in our community; and in the goal of raising up young people to be leaders in their families & communities who are servant-hearted & responsible in life and cross-cultural & globally-minded in their world view.
● We are guided by our Christian faith & convictions, which includes loving God & loving our neighbor, through a humble life of faith lived for His eternal glory. We serve & work with people from all different backgrounds, regardless of spiritual interest or religious affiliation, in areas which we find common ground and which are beneficial to the community.
● We believe in the life-transforming relevance & power of the love of God, the gospel message of Jesus Christ and the spiritually-enriching relationships offered by local churches. Spiritual mentoring & referrals will be made available to those who are interested, without coercion and with no obligation, as with other assistance or referrals provided. We offer spiritual mentoring as those who’ve personally experienced how faith in Christ empowers us with courage & hope to rise above our daily challenges & shortcomings: not limited or defined by our sin & circumstances, and recognizing the inherent worth and individual beauty & uniqueness of every person.
